Launch and secure your portfolio

  • Deploy a portfolio on a branded domain with authentication
  • Configure a honeypot to simulate real-world exposure
  • Modern stack: Next.js, React, Drizzle ORM, Clerk, Neon Postgres, Vercel

Reinforce core security

  • Secure user-to-server authentication
  • Secure sessions with Server Actions
  • Secure server-to-database comms and all credentials

Implement perimeter protections

  • Analyse access patterns from telemetry
  • Configure IP and region-based firewall policies
  • ArcJet WAF with alerting and rate limiting

Validate and improve

  • Use Kali Linux to simulate attacks
  • Find exposed APIs, weak passwords and unauthorised access
  • Prevent breaches of personally identifiable information

Six-week live industry project

After the skills phase you are grouped into a team and paired with a mentor for a six-week live project. In the final week you present your work and learn to showcase it as social proof on LinkedIn.
